Vets on Crown, Your Vet near Redfern
Vet clinic 5 minutes from Redfern Station. Full weekend hours. Written estimates before any work starts.

Whenever you are available, we are ready.
If you adopted from a rescue and the paperwork is patchy, or if you just want to know what something costs before you agree to it — that's a normal conversation at this clinic. Vets on Crown is about 800 metres from Redfern Station, roughly a five-minute walk up Redfern Street and across Cleveland. Dr Nima opened the clinic in 2017, and weekend hours run a full day — not a reduced Saturday morning. Prices are published, written estimates go out before any procedure, and the price doesn't change mid-treatment without a phone call first.
Redfern pet owners, these are our commitments:
Rescues, rehomes and "whose dog is this now" paperwork
You'll know the cost before the work starts
Full weekend service, not just a consult
Five minutes from Redfern Station
Our reviews
Been using Dr Nema and Vets on Crown since they opened. Exceptional Vets, Caring Staff, Have treated my Animals with Care and Love. ALLWAYS done everything possible for them and their treatment.
Incredible staff. Helped us with a rescue kitten! Lovely attitude
I want to commend and personally thank Wendy and Bronween (and the team) for the brilliant work they did yesterday (Sunday). The dedication, care and personal touches will never be forgotten and I will recommend you to all of my friends in the future. The best vet clinic EVER!!! See you again. Damien
Just brought our dog Harvey to get groomed. Great experience from the groomer Tomoko, nice and friendly and made us feel really confident that our pup would be looked after properly (our dog can be a little anxious usually going to the groomer) 10/10 highly recommend. We look forward to bringing him again to his new friend Tomoko. Fionan & Aisling
I brought Otis to Vet on Crown today as a first-time visit due to my local vet being booked out. Otis is a mini dachshund 3 years old. Otis had stopped eating and had been vomiting at 4am this morning. Dr Nima was extremely thorough with his examination and put my mind at ease considering that I had just lost Arlo, a companion dog to Otis, 4 days earlier in a hit and run car accident. In the circumstances I was paranoid about the health of the remaining dog Otis. Dr Nima gave some comforting viewpoints on Arlo's death which I have been significantly affected by and assisted by running blood tests and an IV drip for hydration and tablets to increase Otis' appetite. It was much more practical advice than I received from the previous vet who indicated that Otis was not eating from the stress from losing his companion dog Arlo (which added to an already traumatic event) and didn't run any tests. Dr Nima also diagnosed a heart mumur and back leg issue for Otis which I was not previously aware of which were important to me to know considering Otis' long-term health. The price was about what half I pay at my local vet. Otis is doing much better and eating now we are home.
I wanted to say a big thank you to both the vets I saw with Bingo. (My apologies I didn’t get their names) Plus all the staff at the front counter. I wasn’t always the most pleasant customer, yet both the vets we saw, were lovely. Right till the end, and even after - the compassion & care was beautiful. Thank you
These guys took such great care of my kitty when we came in at short notice and our girl needed emergency dental work. Vets on crown will be our go to vet from now on!
I had my cat de-sexed. Cat came back super relaxed. Service was excellent.
My pup had been ill for over a year and the previous vets at St Peters could not work out what it was. However moving to Vets on Crown, the immediate attention the staff and the vet gave to my little one was amazing and in a few weeks were able to find a diagnosis which could have left him in a critical condition as he already had AP. He was diagnosed with ME, a rare condition and Dr Nima has been super attentive and great with giving us the right medication and advice. Really glad we came here and would highly recommend them :)
New client here but really wanted to point out how the service has blown me away thus far: 1) their phone manner from first call was super caring and extremely helpful. 2) when I came in a touch late for my appointment they were all able to test me overtime 3) we discovered my cat has diabetes. They then booked an immediate plan is attack for my cat even with their already packed itenary. I can't be grateful enough!!!
As an owner of 4 dogs I am very careful to select the right veterinarian for the care of my little babies. New to the area, I did my research on practices, their services they provide, price and equipment on site. I was won over by Vets on Crown their prices are affordable compared to most and it was here I met Dr Cheryl Chan. Cheryl was amazingly warm and attentive to my dogs needs and mine also. She was patient, asked every question possible and was not rushed to get me in and out like most vets I’ve visited in the past. Rest assured that you and your pet will get the best of care in her hands. I was put at ease and my dogs cared for with the utmost of care. Vets on Crown are amazing!!! Thank you 🙏
Benji absolutely loves Vets on Crown and so do we. They always take good care of him. Thanks for everything you do.
