Vets on Crown, Your Vet near Redfern
Vet clinic 5 minutes from Redfern Station. Full weekend hours. Written estimates before any work starts.

Whenever you are available, we are ready.
If you adopted from a rescue and the paperwork is patchy, or if you just want to know what something costs before you agree to it — that's a normal conversation at this clinic. Vets on Crown is about 800 metres from Redfern Station, roughly a five-minute walk up Redfern Street and across Cleveland. Dr Nima opened the clinic in 2017, and weekend hours run a full day — not a reduced Saturday morning. Prices are published, written estimates go out before any procedure, and the price doesn't change mid-treatment without a phone call first.
Redfern pet owners, these are our commitments:
Rescues, rehomes and "whose dog is this now" paperwork
You'll know the cost before the work starts
Full weekend service, not just a consult
Five minutes from Redfern Station
Our reviews
We bring our two dogs to the groomer at Vets on Crown. She is amazing!
You're in safe hands here. Super friendly team and great service!
I wanted to say a big thank you to both the vets I saw with Bingo. (My apologies I didn’t get their names) Plus all the staff at the front counter. I wasn’t always the most pleasant customer, yet both the vets we saw, were lovely. Right till the end, and even after - the compassion & care was beautiful. Thank you
The vets are great there. Always get an appointment and they love their animals.
Tomoko’s grooming at Vets on Crown is top rate. My dog is quite anxious but he always has a good time when he’s there and always comes out looking so clean and handsome. The whole process is seamless, with very kind and caring staff. Highly recommend.
Really good team and surprisingly cheap compare to other veterinary clinics I have visited in the past. They took good care of my pets and gave me many treatments options that other clinics didn’t. Would recommend.
Thanks guys , totally worth 3 hours drive to get , I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know.
Rebecca and my previous vet at this clinic have been spot on with their advice, care and treatment. I feel very lucky to have found these wonderful, experienced vets after moving to Sydney from the Illawarra. There amazing hours of operation, genuine compassion, advice and practical yet affordable prices make them a top veterinarian service provider.
Looked after our beloved feline while we were away. Friendly staff and cat still alive and happy when we got back so all must have gone well.
Tomoko does a beautiful groom with my japanese spitz. Her attention to detail is superb. My dog loves going, enjoys the grooming table and is super happy when I pick him up. Highly recommend Tomoko and her team to groom your dog. Thankyou also to the reception team who are always polite and accommodating.

The pets of Redfern
For renters and share-house residents dealing with a pet that's technically on the lease of a housemate who's now moved out: bring whatever records you have, and we'll work out the rest together. Custody-of-the-dog paperwork isn't something we can sort out, but vaccination gaps and microchip transfers are.
