Exceptional care and a convenient location right on the corner of Main Street, making it easy to find and access. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the veterinarians provided outstanding care for my beloved service dog. As a veteran service dog, his well-being is of the utmost importance to me, and I’m very selective about who I trust with him. The owner, Omid, went above and beyond during a difficult moment. Seeing that I was distressed as an Aussie Army veteran, he stayed by my side throughout the process, ensuring I received a clear diagnosis and expert advice on surgery and specialist options. His kindness, empathy, and personal attention made a world of difference. I truly couldn’t recommend this clinic highly enough. Their professionalism, care, and understanding put me at ease during an anxious time — probably more anxious than my dog! My little dog broke her tail and the service at Vets on Crown has been amazing! They worked with me over several weeks to try and correct the issue with splinting and when that didn't work they helped me make an informed decision about partial amputation. They comforted me when I was upset, and gave Ginny so much love and attention that she still loves going there, despite everything she's been through. When one of her bandages flew off 30 mins after being refreshed, they even came and collected her from home to fix it immediately, as I was frantic trying to attend an important work meeting. Amazing service and great communication too. Despite numerous vets having to treat Ginny over the 6 weeks, they always communicated well with each other and gave consistent advice. They also checked if I already had certain medications so as not to over charge me. Highly recommend!
We can only pay gap bill which is so great!!! They can call insurance and tell us exact amount we should pay, and they do the rest, let the insurance pay their share.
Couldn’t recommend enough as they have gone above and beyond for us in their services. The Vets are fantastic, but the vet nurses are who really make the team with their warm welcomes and friendly service. My dog is a rescue from an abusive background and hates visiting the vets with a passion. They always accommodated her despite her defensiveness and were always understanding, helpful and highly professional.
I had my cat de-sexed. Cat came back super relaxed. Service was excellent.

Dr Clarence Ng
Veterinarian
Dr. Clarence graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science and began working at Vets On Crown in 2020. From Hong Kong, Clarence is tri-lingual; he speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin… He has special interests in all aspects of radiology, surgery, and oncology. In addition, he has extra experience in ultrasonography and received Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Ultrasound Abdominal that was granted by The University of Melbourne in 2020.
Beth
Clinic Cat
Beth, otherwise known as Bethany, Elizabeth, or Nurse Beth, is the clinic Queen of Vets On Crown . Handed in as a stray kitten in 2018 with a growth on her left eye, Dr. Nima performed surgery on her, successfully saving her remaining eye. Beth settled into her new Crown Street home very quickly. As she grew older, she began assisting with many routine procedures, including de-stressing patients, taste-testing treats, and providing emotional support to the entirety of our team. In her free time, Beth enjoys sleeping, receiving cuddles, and sunbathing!
Tomo
Groomer
Tomoko (Tomo) is originally from Japan but has lived outside Japan in New Zealand, Thailand, and Australia for more than 10 Years. Tomo absolutely loves animals and tries to create a happy and relaxing environment for the animals that come to the grooming room. Tomo is also a Reiki practitioner and uses Reiki to calm the animals that come to grooming. Tomo has the magic touch to calm even the most aggressive dogs and cats. Tomo is interested in learning more about animal health, behavior, and diet. At home, Tomo is the proud owner of a demon cat, “Gecko,” who makes all the house rules!
Polly
Groomer
Polly joined Crown Street in 2020 as a grooming assistant, looking to pursue a career in grooming, and is now studying with Vets On Crown to achieve that. Polly has always been interested in animals and has been horse riding since 2006. She spends her spare time with horses and now owns two horses, a thoroughbred and a Clydesdale x thoroughbred. She’s kept busy with her dog, a Hungarian Vizsla.
Tina
Animal Attendant
Tina is originally from France and moved to Sydney 5 years ago. She has been with Vets on Crown since October 2022 and works in the clinic’s Pet Hotel and Daycare. She has always been surrounded by animals, owning dogs, and has been working on a farm (dogs, cats, horses…) back in France. Tina is a proud owner of a Sharp Pei X Staffy named Soul which she spends most of her time with when not at work. She is interested in learning more about animal health, dog training, and behavior. In her spare time, she loves to sing, play guitar, read, do road trips, spend time in nature as well as restore old furniture. A quote she uses often” A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself” by Josh Billings.

Practice Manager & Veterinary Nurse
Jamie is a dedicated veterinary nurse with a strong passion for providing gold standard care to every patient. Jamie joined the team here as a veterinary nurse in April of 2023 and stepped into the practice manager position in October of 2024. Through commitment to animal welfare, he has developed special interest in emergency and critical care, working as an emergency nurse in his spare time. Jamie is continually expanding his knowledge through ongoing education and advanced training currently upgrading his current certificate IV in veterinary nursing to the diploma level degree whilst completing a diploma in leadership and management as well!

Originally from Italy, Daniela moved to Sydney to embrace new experiences and grow both personally and professionally. In her free time, she enjoys staying active with sports and yoga, exploring Australia’s nature, and engaging in projects related to sustainability and wellness.

Camilla graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil and spent a few years working in emergency care. In 2024, she moved to Australia to continue her professional journey, explore new opportunities in animal health, and embrace new personal experiences. She is passionate about animals and loves being able to make a difference in the lives of pets and their people. When she’s not at work, you’ll probably find her hanging out with friends, watching a movie, or chasing the perfect sunset.

Originally from a small city in Canada, Maddie moved to Sydney to pursue a career change and follow her lifelong passion for animals. With a love for all animals and a special interest in snakes, she is working toward becoming a veterinarian and licensed snake catcher. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, boxing, and cooking especially as she grew up in a large Italian family where Nonna always had delicious food ready.
Xenia
Vet receptionist
Xenia is a veterinary receptionist who will soon begin her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE. She has always had a strong love for animals and grew up around large dog breeds, which inspired her to pursue a career in the veterinary field. At home, she shares her life with a big German Shepherd and a playful kitten. In her spare time, she enjoys going dirt bike riding with her fiancé, as well as knitting and working on arts and crafts. She also loves being outdoors, especially going fishing, camping, and spending time in nature with family and friends. Xenia is passionate about learning and is excited to continue growing in the veterinary industry while providing a warm and welcoming experience for clients and their pets.

Dr Emily White
Veterinarian
After spending a few years working in a busy small animal practice in central London Emily decided to move to Australia from the UK with her partner seeking warmer weather. Emily enjoys the variety of challenges general practice brings and loves helping a range of patients. She loves spending her time outdoors and particularly enjoys planning tennis and soccer in her spare time. After spending 6 months travelling she hopes to be able to help animals in need in more disadvantaged places in the future and has particular interests in surgery and emergency medicine.
Dr Nima Rahmani
Senior Veterinarian
Dr. Nima is our Head Vet and has been with Vets on Crown since day one. Dr. Nima has been practicing since 2004. He’s had a passion for medicine from a very young age, and with the love he had for animals, it wasn’t hard for him to choose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. During his career, he has had the opportunity to work in rural NSW and Victoria, which gifted him a wealth of professional and personal knowledge.
Throughout his career, he has gained valuable experience in many areas of veterinary medicine, including complex medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, dentistry, and emergency and critical care.
Dr. Nima also enjoys teaching and mentoring young vets and vet nurses, inspiring them to practice the highest level of medical standards.
During his spare time, Dr. Nima enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, running, cycling, being in nature, and traveling.
When he gets time for a coffee break, he tries to spend them with Beth, the one-eyed cat he rescued a couple of years ago and homed at the clinic.
